Say the word “important” out loud, paying attention to the way that the last syllable sounds – you know, the ‘tant’ part. If it sounds a bit like ‘tent’ or ‘tunt’, congratulate yourself on a job well done. If, however, it sounds more like ‘dent’ or, heaven forbid, ‘dint,’ it is critically important, for the sake of humanity, that you immediately ingest an entire “Costco-sized” container of nutmeg, and wash it down with two quarts of the finest “original” flavour bleach.
